Question...
Why are you going all AMD? Honestly, Intel and nVidia are still out performing AMD, and actually can actually beat the price too.
The Phenom just didnt get very good reviews. It could hardly hang with the Q6600, which is Intels lowest end quad core.

These products are know to increase the proformance of each other. All AMD is what they call Codename Spider. It runs smoother. I dont like the cpu myself thinking of going with the 6200+ black edition. That will most likly what i do in the build

I would get the tower with the 25mn fan on the side. you can sell the power supply on ebay or keep it as a back up.
I have the fan and it helps keep things a little bit cooler.

Exactly, the fan lowered my internal temps during gaming and graphic rendering sessions a substantial bit. I have the Kandalf case, you can't go wrong with either of the two. Loads of space, good quality Thermaltake construction..blah blah.
I'd pay the extra $45 for the side fan door (at least that's what it was when i bought it from newegg).
Seriously though, i'm a huge AMD fan from way back, i currently run AMD, although I just recently built my parents a new PC using a E6550 with a ASUS P5W DH Deluxe and that sucker blew my damn PC socks off and I'm overclocked but i'm also not running AMD dual core, so i really can't speak to the gaps in performance but everything i've seen and heard so far is that Intel kinda has a one up on AMD as far as being able to better utilize the dual core technology.

Re: The Codename Spider im planing on building
Ive researched it and asked around. I do have people that agree with you but 50-1 say its good to go all AMD. Ill see if i can give you some proof when i build the thing.
Also I think ive already changed my case. Im going to get the large Ultra case. Im going to use my extra fans + liquid cooling. depending on what happens if i want to keep my current pc as a server or something, I might just use its ps its 1000 watts.

Your going with the low end phenom, which lags behind the Intel Q6600 in basically all the benches I have browsed through (heck the high end one does too), all that and the 6600 is 20 dollars cheaper. On top of all that your motherboard will cost you under 150 instead of 250...
I like the 3850, But you could take that money you just saved and upgrade that to the 3870 and have even MORE powerful performance...

If you would insist on going with an all AMD system (which I wouldnt even though I am AMD fanboy #1) you really should wait for a new generation of AM2+ stuff to emerge. The Phenoms just are not what they were supposed to be when it comes to instructions per cycle. I am sure they will be releasing bigger faster versions of the AM2+ CPUS soon enough though... unless they go bankrupt from Intel outdoing them at every turn.

Re: The Codename Spider im planing on building
Anyone get the impression its like a mac vs pc type thing with intel and AMD? Out of all my AMD's and Intel ive always had better luck with AMD. My mobo does support AM2+ so what i might do is just get everything and then upgrade cpus. just get something that will hold me over for now.
