Thread: My Comp

Ill be playing TTP, then every 2-3 minutes my comp will freeze. these freeze times range from 5 sec to 45 sec. Ill get knifed and it wont count me as AFK or nothing. Its really starting to piss me off. I dont know what to do, any suggestions that you are positive it will work??

Well, I have to ask some basic questions to get this out of the way...
1. Have you got all of the assorted most recent set of drivers,windows updates, and bios,etc for your computer?
2. Does the freezing problem happen with other games, and if so.. which?
3. Do you have an anti-virus/spyware scan program of some sort, if so did it result in any abnormal answers?
4. Now that I think to ask, does it only happen on certain maps?
5. How much free hard drive space do you have, and have you defragged lately?

(these are all the questions I can think to ask or that most of the others who will likely look in on this may ask, though there may be more... also just for the sake of completeness run dxdiag and copy/paste the results of the log.. there are enough people in this community that we should get some really good educated guesses with all the above info)

idk. its my stepdads comp. its a nice, new model DELL though :P
