Motherboard + CPU + RAM upgrade

OK. I just installed the hardware and booted into my existing Vista install. Here's the early results:

Old System
Athlon 64 X2 4200+
2G of DDR 400 RAM
8800GT 512MB

3DMark06:

I'm seriously considering reloading Vista clean with fresh drivers. Not sure if I'm happy yet with my results.

Hey guys...

I got the Left 4 Dead 2 DVD yesterday, installed Steam then Activated the Left 4 Dead 2 through Activate a Product option.
Now I have Left 4 Dead 2 on my games library so i right clicked it and Clicked install but Steam is Downloading the whole game as I have the installion files in the DVD. My net speed is not fast and even though i have the files in the DVD downloading is just waste of time.

So please if there is any way I could Install it through Disk...Do lets me know

What happens if you just double click on it instead of right clicking?

Same thing downloads. Thanks for the reply though made it work now.

Anyone else facing this issue all you have to do is Add non-steam game go to the L4D2 DVD add setup.exe (steam setup) and when you double click it through the game library it would install L4D2.
