Heres all the crap I had to do...
    -Defrag
-Connect some sort of cables that came with the card into the power supply.
-Delete some startup files from "msconfig"
-Install new drivers with the serial number of my card.

Now... LETS GO PLAY SOME CSS!!!!!!!!!

Okay, I read this, and my butt puckered so tight I'm going to excreete diamonds.

First of all - defrag isn't going to do anything for your video.

Second - is probably what corrected the problem. On the 7950 there's a six pin connector on the board, and generally, if you don't have that on your power chain coming from the supply, there's either an adapter, or you need to upgrade your power supply because it's not going to have enough juice to power everything. If youd o this, get an SLI certified one. It'll be what you need.

Self-proclaiming yourself as a n00b, then stating you deleted startup files from MSCONFIG is what makes my butt pucker. You should NEVER delete files from MSCONFIG. Unchecking things from Startup isn't going to do much but make things not load at startup, which can help, but if yoU DELETE things .. that's playing with fire. You may inadvertantly delete something, reboot, and be staring at a BSOD or, worse, an error message stating that it can't find something it needs to run.

Installing new drivers should work, too. Go to nVidia.com - click on "Download Drivers", then choose from the dropdown menus, in order, GeForce, then GeForce 7 series, then your OS (Windows XP, Vista, whatever), then "Search".

At that point, it will come up with the most recent WHQL drivers. That means they've been tested with the OS by Microsoft and will work.

At least you didn't go play in the Registry.

But this is how one becomes a non-n00b unless they want to pay for a MSCDT cert. I have broken my share of stuff since I was 13...

Glad to hear you fixed it though. I am sure it was mainly the power cables that did it.

Classic! People do still defrag.... I've got a friend who still uses Xtree, although he has finally upgraded to Ztree.... LOL

HAHAHAHA! I never paid attention to it, but you're right! Must be the "legal" typing form... fingers resting on asdf (left hand) and jkl; (right hand)

All I said to do was connect the card to the power supply... That's it.
