Sorry for bumping my thread well anway l4d2 is dead on xbox ive seen this guy stanley bostix for the 12 time every single day he always plays expert i see the same people on l4d2 and really aint much people on l4d2

Yesterday I saw 8 folks on my list playing l4d2 and two were playing the original.

Maybe start playing public again and adding new friends.

It isn't dead, hell it is as active as ever. Even L4D1 has plenty of people playing it still. I never have a problem filling up a lobby unless it is after 2am EST.

Maybe you just need to find some fresh blood to play with or join a clan if your into versus. Good players are always out there looking for people to play with, you just have to make an effort to become friends with them.

Maybe L4D2 is different, but Left 4 Dead stayed young and healthy for months on end without DLC. I don't know, DLC is overrated. Most of it's half-assed and a complete waste of money (i.e. Crash Course).

Maybe it's just your timing. I usually don't have that big a problem finding people to play with during the later evening. Afternoons are kinda bleh though, but it's certainly not dead.

I did, but looking back it was pretty bad. I mean, it's good, but considering it took Valve almost a year to come out with DLC finally after saying L4D DLC would come out fast before the game was even released, only for us having to wait a near year and then A) A new game to come out, anyways and B) Half-assed map with only two chapters.

Now what? We have to wait a year each time for a single DLC to come out? I understand Valve is all aboard Left 4 Dead 2 with the mutations and all that cute stuff, but c'mon.

Now I may be coming off as a hypocrite by complaining about the launches of DLC when I said I just don't care about DLC, but Valve promised shit. And I Know promises, especially from Valve, mean shit, but I lose respect for the people at Valve each passing day. Each passing day Valve ignores or prolong projects on their good series, such as Left 4 Dead or Half-Life. Yet they'll turn around and shove that Portal bullshit down our throats (don't get me wrong, it's an OK game, but highly overrated), oh, and if I hear Still Alive one more time I Swear I'll kill every hipster alive.

Wow, I sure did digress. Guess I'm just mad at Valve still.

very much not dead. out of my nearly 100 XBL friends, at least 30 or more play it almost every day.. and when we host games, they fill pretty quickly. not AS quickly as back in November of last year, sure.. but still.. definitely not dead!
