Because I really want to play the game my friend let me borrow, but it's all fucked up. I don't wanna pay for them to clean, because that didn't work when I tried it several times.

In reality - if you REALLY liked the game and your harddrive is big enough, you can just copy the game on your Harddrive with the rental and play the game with your scratched copy. It's what I did with Rainbow Six.

But it would be a waste of a "Free game rental a month" for me...

Do you guys not have the equivalent of lovefilm in the U.S./Canada? I'm not sure if they're just based in the U.K. or not. They offer a better selection than Blockbuster stores and no late fees. You can get 3 discs at a time, unlimited rental and online viewing for £18.99 a month, but they start off a lot cheaper than that.
