Thread: Apple Iphone

APPLE THIS apple that.. blah blah blah but for real. This phone I got the other day is wicked man, I can go watch anything on utube check my email google anything, possiblities for this thing is limitless. And yes they DO have video fo the iphone. I just wanted to see if anyone else had one and what they think. Anyone have any hacks for em yet? lol

My fiance and I both have the iPhone. It's entertaining, and basically does exactly what I want in a phone: a solid IMAP client, ability to browse the web (and it does this far better than any other Smartphone out there that I've used) and easy to use. The nearly-full (Flash? Hello?) Safari browser is nice, and I'm anxious to see what comes out for the phone when the SDK is released next month.

Doesn't hurt that the data plan is half the monthly cost of the standard Smartphone one, either.

A fair point, although as long as your Exchange server has IMAP enabled, it can access Exchange via that protocol.

As for the MMS thing, yeah, that annoys me too and hopefully it'll get added in the future.

I got one as well and I love it.

And it works great for browsing the TTP forums and doing posts. The only post issue I had is that I can't trim a quote down as it's not possible to select a bunch of text I don't want and press "delete".

I've had one since November. It's the best phone ever. $399 for 8 gigs...that right there pwns any phone that cost $600+ and you need a freaking stick of ram that ain't worth a shit. 1 gig sticks..plz

A ipod with an phone in one. Songs are only 99 cents and you can make your own ringtone with that song for up to 30 secs. :6

With the new update you can email links and cuztomize your home screen. And many more shits...


I haven't hacked mine nor really want to. My homeboy hacked the shit out his. GPS, streaming radio stations all over the world, custom everything. It's pretty cool but when you update the phone on the cradle, itunes erases it.

Important background info: So I have this friend who's very ticklish. One day I was tickling her thighs and squealed "OoOo, that's my bum!" Me and my other friends burst out laughing, and this sort of became an inside joke that we would commonly recite.

So anyways, I'm playing L4D with 3 strangers and we all have mics. Despite this, we didn't really talk much, in fact, it felt awkward to say anything. So a Tank eventually shows up and we start fighting it. It starts heading towards me and I turn to run and it smacks me from behind. When it smacked me, for WHATEVER reason, I said "OoOo, that's my bum!"

So then the other 3 were like "... WHAT!?" and then burst out laughing.

On one hand, the ice had been broken and we were talkative for the rest of the campaign. On the other hand though, most of it was teasing me. I'd get incapacitated and the person rescuing me would say "You didn't land on your bum did you?" Someone would start healing me and say "Here, let me patch up your bum". And once a smoker grabbed me, someone shouted "Quick! Don't let it attack his bum!"
