Explain how its false, when i prove it right all the time?
By the way, videos of people bunny hopping or stupid Kagato articles that make no sense isn't proof.
Seriously, Kagatos posts makes me laugh...
There was some big study done with a buncha nobodys and some how they decided that PC players are greater then console players... WOW!!!! That sure proved me wrong..
AAaaAhahahHAhaha. What a dumb ass..!!!WiCkEd VOooOdooooO TerRrroRR!!!

No offense Eylof, But I absolutely think its cheating. IF you can get the Mouse working in a way that is identical to usage on the PC. Everytime I've heard someone trying to use a mouse/keyboard on the Xbox, it always lagged for some reason and it didn't quite feel right. Now back onto why i think its cheating -
I play both Xbox and PC games. A lot. Right now its mostly PC but I cant wait to get another xbox, so I can enjoy my casual play with my friends in real life.. But until then I'm playing PC games mainly.. and I -- attempted -- to play PC FPS games through the use of a wired xbox controller and it didn't go so well. And anyone who has played with me on the xbox knows that I'm pretty damn good with the xbox controller.
The fact is, Keyboard and mouse is vastly superior to the xbox controller. In terms of First Person shooters. Why we argue about this though, I think, is just absolutely retarded because it doesn't matter. You can't use a KBM on an xbox (most people can't, atleast) - so it doesn't matter if the xbox controller is slightly disadvantaged because everyone else in the server is using one too so you're all on the same level. And it's not THAT gimped.
That said - I think its cheating because you're giving yourself an advantage that no one else is able to have without hacking/modifying the game. The only other way I know of is using a gimped product that doesn't even work. So like I said - I think it comes back to if you can actually make this as functional as a Mouse, I think you're going to have a huge advantage, which others wont be able to replicate unless they pay someone to mod their hardware for them, or unless they know enough about computers themselves.
I'd be really interested to know how functional you've gotten this to work though. Ie: Have you been able to make a mouse function without lag and is 100% precise in terms of reaction speed?
@Abyss+shotgun - It's not the Keyboard that makes the combo special, it's the precision of the mouse.
@Voodu - Just because your friend isn't good or able to get out of a "tight situation" doesn't mean anything. Maybe he can't get out of tight situations because hes playing against people who are using KBM, and therefore are way more accurate than anyone on the xbox ever would be. Or maybe he's just not that skilled. Either way, it doesn't really say anything about the effectiveness of a controller vs a mouse. I really find it hard to believe anyone who have played on both systems, for extended periods, would say that the mouse is inferior to the controller.

Actually he's really good with a mouse and keyboard. Its the moving part thats inferior. He would watch me wiggle through and leap over stuff with different speeds and accuracy that he just can't do. Its not a mouse thing, its a joystick thing. Ya he can do what i was doing, but he actually has to 'try' when im barely putting in any effort.
Just like a driving or flying game. Its more of a pain in the ass to pull off slight movements with a keyboard then it is with a control stick. Actually anything to do with movment is better with a joystick.
And even he and most others would say a mouse and joystick would be the best combo for aiming/moving.!!!WiCkEd VOooOdooooO TerRrroRR!!!

Well I have to disagree completely, no matter what your friend says because as I said, I use both controllers and I find KBM just as easy to "move". I've never heard that argument before that a joystick is easier to "move" with. The only advantage a joystick would have is the regulation of speed in movements, nothing else. And even then - I've never heard of that being an issue. You either need to walk for no sound, walk normally, or sprint.
When do you hear someone say "if only I had the ability to move at 83% of my usual speed, I would of been able to kill that guy!"
Obviously, PC players don't have to try to move, and I just cannot fathom what series of movements youre able to make on a joystick that would make it inherently superior to do rather than on a KBM.
Edit: I'm not going to get into this debate though - I've experienced both methods of controls, and in my honest opinion - KBM is superior, and I've yet to meet someone who played both regularly who have said otherwise.
On the other hand though, the controller is so much more comfortable. I miss it. I hate being hunched over a computer desk.
