I find the biggest problem is, certain players 'think' that a mouse and keyboard have some kind of huge advantage.
But when it comes right down to it, most of these so called 'pro' M/K players can't really back any of it up. Especially when it comes to L4D. I've made 3 players eat their words from this forum and another go hide behind their ignore button. Their only defense is some wierdo ass games that NO console players even plays, and some small ass study they did with no credible games or players.
I could care less if someone uses a M'K on XBOX. While some might cry about it and 'think' its an advantage. Alot of players, such as myself couldn't give a shit.
Besides, its not even fun to point and click. I'd rather squeeze a trigger and deal with a .3 second diference it takes to aim. Whooop dee dooo.!!!WiCkEd VOooOdooooO TerRrroRR!!!

I can haz proof
All I wanna say is that in my OPINION K/M > Controller, however that is just because I don't play console as much. When I do play on COD at my mates house I have no trouble aiming with a controller, however I have more problems aiming on L4D.
Not sure if there is any correlation here lol.Kagato: "You got this Feesh?"

If it makes you happy, just use it.
I think comfort and practice makes anything better.
If you ever had a chance to see me use a mouse/keyboard you would laugh your ass off. Its NO advantage for me what so ever.
And i do graphic design and use mouse all day. Yet I can't stand playing FPS with a mouse tho.!!!WiCkEd VOooOdooooO TerRrroRR!!!

In terms of aiming speed, it usually does. My level of dexterity is decidedly average and I have pretty poor motor skills to boot, but I can still snap my aim from point to point pretty quickly. On the analogue sticks I can do that, but to actually get the reticule right where it needs be, I may need to spend an extra second or so fine tuning the aim. it's one of the reasons why, despite practising for a while, I gave up using anything but shotguns on L4D - given that they are an inherently inaccurate weapon, using a shotgun effectively allows me to mitigate the lack of precise control with an analogue stick. Equipped with a shotgun and my melee trigger at the ready, I can play L4D pretty well on the controller, and my skill with other weapons pales in comparison - it's a shame it took me so long to realise! It would be nice to be able to be good at the game with a weapon other than a shotgun, but once I'd priced a computer up that was capable of playing L4D, suddenly the Xbox didn't look so bad at all, and I accepted the relatively small limitation.
The funny thing is, all the games I do play on the computer (all from the 90s or earlier) are so old and basic that they really don't require precise aiming either... yet they're played with a KB and mouse ...
Ain't it odd how things work out sometimes.[s]L4D - PC & Xbox 360[/s]

I think that's abusing your power just because you're cranky. You have to keep your priorities straight, based on the forum's guidelines, rules, whatever, and not based on your health.
But Eylof, if you do it (don't know if you have already) tell me first so I can step up my game, unless you're on my team. You're already hard enough. The hell you need an improvement for?
