Yeah. Exactly. And the reason we dropped Comcast is cause we BOTH got tired of being treated like complete idiots on the phone when their service was constantly dropping connection. My fiance did tech support for 10 years and she's the pinnacle of patience and calm.... but lemme tell ya, Comcast knows how to push her over the edge. That was... loud and angry.

We're REAL lucky we're less than 3000 feet from the CO, now we have very stable 6.0/768 DSL for almost half the damn cost of Commiecast. Fuckers.

... watch, when we move in a few months we'll drop out of the DSL range again. *sigh*

I had better service with my DSL line but when I moved 3 miles from that location to our new house it is not offered. So Comcast is MY ONLY option without going to some expensive Satellite situation. O and I am paying them $50 for my shitty service.

FiOS it is.. it only makes sense.. less money more bandwidth iam going to go for the 15mbps/2mbps, and its fiber optics to my door... has to be good... sooner or later iam going to have to upgrade to fiber.. either uverse or fios and fios goes to my door. unlike uverse

It was gonna be the next big thing and the phone companies started putting Fiber down everywhere to 'modernize' and then some dickhead went and figured out how to use shitty 100 year old copper wires to send the internet around, and BAM no more fiber.

OK whatever you do, DO NOT. I repeat DO NOT go with ATT for any reason WHATSOEVER. I have been jerked around by them, their customer service and general ass-hattery. I have had problems with them ever since September. They disconnected my internet without being asked to, over billed us, and would not give us access to our email accounts until we payed back expenses. Let me find the thread....

I had this happen about 7 or 8 years ago - they disconnected me saying I called to cancel when I was actually calling to get shit fixed. I SWORE I would never pay ATT another cent.

Sadly I went Bellsouth DSL after serious trouble along similar lines with Comcast, which which promptly was bought by ATT. NOw i pay those dicks for internet, land line, AND cell service.
ARGH!

I still hate them, but for now their service is working.
