I will grant that. It is akin racing your custom tuned sports car against other custom tuned sports cars.

I aint hatin, there is just a lot of focus on 3dmarks and it is a seriously canned benching system. It works fine, but it has many holes. As a generic comparator though it works well. If I were a serious OCer I would prbably run tests on big ass math problems... put that AMD floating point superiority to the test...

    Possible move to PC

Okay, so I'm coming into a bit of money and I have the choice basically between moving to PC or getting a new xbox.

With a game like Battlefield 3 coming out, I may opt to just upgrade my machine, depending on how badly they gimp the xbox version. Also, I'm not asking for research or anything - just what you guys may or may not know off the top of your head.

Anyway: my question is, anyone who knows about PCs/games on PC - how much would I need to upgrade my computer to actually make it able to play up to date computer games?

    My Specs:

    Vista
    Processor: AMD Anthlon 7550 Dual-Core Processor 2.50GHz
    Memory/RAM: 3.00 GB
Video Card: GeForce 6150SE nForce 430

Idk if you guys need any info but if you do let me know.

Also off the top of your head how much would this cost to upgrade do you guys would think? I feel like the only thing I really need to upgrade is my video card, and last time I use to game, they cost about 300 a piece for a decent one.

I'd just build a new computer. 600ish bucks will last you 4~6 years depending on new advancements.
Jesus, didn't realize I was that far behind. That sucks
