And I have to ask.......did you have much trouble with the creative sound card working on your build and with vista?
I am going to get this card also and was wondering how you got this card to work with BIOS and vista ultimate 64 (which is what I have) and read some Newegg reviews which were concerning..

? He should!! Even with his CPU set a little lower than the fastest, it still smokes the higher overclocked CPU. Your GPU scores are killing it though...... I wonder if the highest score holder is running tri or quad SLI

His cpu is not set a little lower but a lot lower. The top 3dMark06 is running an AMD cpu at 6ghz. The top Vantage score is running at 4.3ghz. That is a big difference from 3.6ghz.

well finally someone has beat me. looks like its time for a new build. the only thing i will not buy is the solid states.

Nobody beats the AMD guys atQC. They OCed a processor from 3.4 to 5.9. Over 7K 3dmarks on just the cpu.

Yeah but using liquid nitrogen doesn't count for me, that isn't a permanent solution. If they did it with air or even water i'd be way more impressed. There's zero practicality out of a liquid nitrogen over clock.
