Your 8800 GT is better than the 9600 and BFG does not do the step-up offer that eVGA does.

looks like the 8800GT is better than both those cards. the 3870 sucks.

Price/Performance ratios though should be very high. Not everyone can afford an extra $75-100.

When the 9800's come out, it will be very interesting to see their performance.

Seriously. It *will* stomp that 6800 up and down pwn street.

There is also the 8800 GS option for les than 200. Sure it's DX10 and not DX10.1, but it should have more muscle than the 9600 which has more muscle than the 6800, so do the math!

Very minor revision which mostly makes certain graphic settings a requirement.

Well last night a friend came over with a intel 780i board with a quad core and a 8800ultra.

Unreal3 and crysis looked badass and smoked the 3870's.

When it came to TF2 and COD4 the image quality blew that ultra away.

It depends what you want to play and how you want it to look.

Most of you talk out of your ass citing toms hardware like it was the bible.

I on the other hand like to see the differnce in front of me.
Syrringe and spader was over and saw the same thing as well.
