If that's your budget, then in my opinion, the only way to go if you want to have a computer worth a damn is to build it. I can't think of any build from a prefab site that can outperform what you can build if you DIY.

Alienware computers are great from everything I have read. They are about $800 to $1000 over priced depending on how high end the system is. Why not buy a bigdog box. Spec is out similar to the alienware and I can almost assure you of +$500 in savings.

And what is that budget? 750 dollars? 1000 dollars? what? I wanna make a parts list (with the community's input of course) and then you can get big to build it. Best performance for the price, period.
