    Video settings help

On my new system when I restart it reverts to crappy settings. I change them in the Nvidia control panel, but the next time I start it goes back to 640X480 or something retarded. What am I doing wrong?

    Re: Video settings help

640x480 is the default resolution for Windows when either Windows is unable to detect a proper driver for the component or is unable to determine what that component can display properly on your monitor.

Since you mention nVidia's control panel, what version driver are you using? The 163's are pretty damn stable but the 169's have been having issues in SLI mode and staying there.

Does Windows Device Manager recognize your hardware correctly? (Monitor and Video Card)

    Latest Drivers?

Recently installed software that may have lead to this problem occurring?

There should be something inside the Nvidia control panel that allows you to keep your settings when you restart your comp... I think at least.

    Exclamation Bilian's L4D2 Sound & Music Mod Plus v1.1

(To site admin: This is the third time I have tried to post this announcement. Is there a reason why my thread is not showing up here? If there is some sort of problem, please let me know, thanks.)

I think you guys might enjoy this sound-pack for Left 4 Dead 2, just updated for "The Sacrifice" DLC, which enhances/replaces over 1,700 sound files for the game, plus 15 high-quality custom textures. It features months of original work by a professional sound designer & is NOT a compilation of other mods.

    Download it here:

    Bilian's L4D2 Sound & Music Mod Plus v1.1

There are 7 videos on youtube demonstrating gameplay with the mod, here is the latest:
