Re: The Best Graphics Card for the Best Price
Is your MB PCI-E 2.0 compliant?
The ASUS card you showed was not so I am not sure if you can handle a 2.0 in your current setup, unless I read it wrong.
XFX is a good video card manufacturer along with BFG Tech. I would see what they have to offer in the non 2.0 cards.
Never heard of that memory brand before....I would try to stick to crucial, corsair, mushkin, and kingston. Though I have heard a few good things about g.skill and ocz but I have never tried them so I can't really comment.

Re: The Best Graphics Card for the Best Price
a few questions
im running XP 64-bit is there any problems?
and i have a heat problems already do u think they would get worse with either of those cards?
Motherboard does not have to be pci-e 2.0 to use that card... My board is pci-e 1.0 and my 8800GT works flawlessly.. They are backwards compatible .. If he has a pci-e slot the card will work.
G Skill is known to many over clockers as some of the best memory you can buy.. Like I said the set I have is running at 1000mhz. With 24 hours of memtest.
