Time to dump that inventory in preparation for the 9x00 line so if you keep your eye out and you probably find a really nice deal on the 8x00 stuff.

340 for the GTX is a sweet price if your interested.

hmmm. Good point. I wonder if the GTS 640MBs will come down enough to justify buying a second one and SLIing it FOR FUN AND PROFIT.

Oh, don't get me started on that. I bought my eVGA 8800GTS 640MB from a fellow TTPer over the summer for about $350 or so I think... and then eVGA releases the 8800GT 512MB which spanks my card... for less fucking money. GAH.

everything is always faster and cheaper next month, you just get use to it.

340 is a great price for the GTX, but on the other hand the GT throws around enough pixels for most users for almost 1/2 the price.

I linked it in case anyone wanted it at that price and to demonstrate that the 8x00 series will be available for good prices if you keep your ear to the street
