Sorta. It can only handle up to 4 gig, and needs to 'rope off' some of that total for hardware address spacing, so your only going to show in 32 bit winXP about 3.2 or so gig.

I really just need to upgrade a few things though, which will still cost me roughly $500 I'm guessing though.

I was reading that it's a waste with 4 gig to go to the 64 bit vista os over 32 bit. Something about how all the additional addressing needed for 64 bit basically has the same net effect as the unaddressable space in 32 bit. So if you go 64 bit, bump up the memory if you can.
