Thread: Ok Jinx this is for you and syrring

ok and this is the stress test from CSS. This is at 1680x1050 all maxed out. it blew my mind when i saw this.

well we will see what the 2 8800 gts 512 does against 1 3870 x2 tomorrow. I dont know how much of a difference it will make being on an nvidia chipset. Im going to just run a stock 3dmark and then closk the cards to the max. so it will be 4 different 3dmark score ill even throw in lights mark also. This will be done in ulitmate 64 with sp1 and latest drivers. So jason if you wouldnt mind send me a link to the site where you got your drivers from.

windows vista ultimate 64 bit will not work with the QX9650 on the asus Striker ll formula mobo. so for now ill be running the E8400 for the tests and what not.

Bios update?

i figured it out. i just tricked the system. Knew it had something to do with my CPU so i put the E8400 in and installed Ultimate. Well then i switched out the cpu and waited to see what it would do , well need less to say im using my pc right now. BUT b/c the cpu is so new Vista is having trouble with it and i cant install sp1 for some reason. And to top it off, i cant get 3dmark to work right so i cant get my scores for the 8800 and the x2!

well now i figured out the sp1 problem the next step is to fix the 3dmark one. Not sure what the deal is with it but ill get it figured.
