Found this interesting, another article in which Harold Camping has changed his ideas yet again.

As crestfallen followers of a California preacher who foresaw the world's end strained to find meaning in their lives, Harold Camping revised his apocalyptic prophecy Monday, saying he was off by five months because the Earth actually will be obliterated on Oct. 21.

The globe will be completely destroyed in five months, he said, when the apocalypse comes. But because God's judgment and salvation were completed on Saturday, there's no point in continuing to warn people about it, so his network will now just play Christian music and programs until the final end on Oct. 21.

Probably a long time. I wouldn't be surprised if he dies THEN people realize how crazy he was. I forget who it was, or what it was, but I *THINK* it was some Jehovah witnesses, this one guy - once a week from what I can remember - would say "God is coming, come with me to the top of the hill" and they'd wait for him all day. he would say he got it wrong and would do it all over again. I think he died before they figured out how wrong he was... if they ever did.



Also, just as a side note, Judgement day =/= Rapture day.
Whoever this was who claimed this, Judgement day means that Gods going to come down and take those who are worthy of Salvation - those who believe and all that - up to heaven with him. Rapture day will be at a later day, and non-believers who do not have any intention to Repent at all, don't believe etc, will stay and experience the end of the world.
