Peh, 8800 is fine for now mayng. Why do any of you need a 9800x2? What games are you playing and where can I find them? (and yes, I have crysis and I can run it on medium fine with my 8800GTS 512mb)

    This goes out to everyone.

You type in google 9800gx2 vs 3870x2 and you get loads of links leading to graphs etc etc.

Almost all these graphs say something different on every other website.
Nvidia wins here ATI wins there and so on.

The only true way to find out what your system can do is run 3dmark.
    Bottom line.

That is the only way you can truly compare hardware that has a even test across the board for both GPU makers.

Every test setup on those graphs is different so the results will vary.

Again this is why we use 3dmark.

ATI is in the lead with 3dmark so to me they win.

    In game frames?
As long as you stay above 60+ who gives a fuck.
Then you go to image quality and ATI wins(thank you blue thunder for that link).

What more is there to talk about?

I have the 3870 X2 on my wifes computer and g92 gts on mine. The rest of the guts are identical. To be honest benchmarks aside I cannot tell the difference They both kick so much ass every game i play on the are sexy smooth.

Besides, Benchmarks are the most boring game ive ever played.

    HoN Servers Damaged.

During our scheduled maintenance period this morning we had a catastrophic hardware failure across a number of systems including some of our backup systems. We have the capacity and ability to recover from this failure. However, due to the extent of this failure we cannot provide an ETA on when service will be restored, we will continue to provide you updates as they are available to us.
