    Re: Vafa/Tony Upgrading!

omfg...its ridiculousssssly fast and when I say fast, I mean FAST. The cpu/ddr3 is amazing. I can do 4-5 things at once and the computer doesn't even hiccup. Counterstrike at 440+ fps, are you kidding me? This is an absolute killer And yes, I will venture into more FX demanding games...

    Final Specs:

    Q9450 @ 3.8 w/ blue LED zalman 9700
    9800gtx superclocked edition
    EVGA 790i SLI ultra
    2 gigs DDR3 OCZ reaper
Creative soundblaster audigy 7 (not a fatal1ty, but gets the job done!)
    650 watt silverstone PS
    DVD/CD lightscribe drive
    250gb hard drive
3 additional fans (should hold me down until I watercool...hopfully bigdog will do this for me)
Alienware ALX case (blue with chrome accents with multi colored LEDs)-p2.1 chassis with all that badass lighting....I traded in my old case for this one and paid the difference

I will add a few more things in the next few months, including an additional 2 gigs of ram, a new 1000 watt toughpower supply, another 9800gtx, and windows vista IF I am convinced it runs games better than XP.

    Thanks or the help Mafia!

Anyone know anything about Asetek? I like the idea of keeping my cpu 10 times cooler than water....talk about future proofing!

Heres a link to a review for it. Looks like its for mega OCing. The temps go down to -30C or more if you like. Takes an AC cord to use it. It has a pad for condensation.

If you have the money, and really want to do it. Do it.
