Thread: Vafa/Tony Upgrading!

From what I understand, if you're piecing together a rig, you can go with the OEM. So I guess if you already have one built with another OS, and want to change, you will need the other version....Not sure of the specifics though.

I received the new RAM, reinstalled XP, and set my voltages to 1.9 at 6-6-6-18 and the rig is running beautifully. Talk about some kick ass RAM! I ran crysis on all high settings and it is just unbelievably smooth.

As an added bonus, OCZ messed up and sent me another 2 gigs of DDR 3 platinum RAM by accident! Damn....Im too honest though and will probably be sending it back next week. I would hate for them to check inventory and see they are missing 250 dollar ram and trace it back to me.
