I'll tell you what's creepy. A bunch of 'adults' placing posts calling people 'bitches' and 'gay.' It's what kids do when they don't get their way. Can never do the adult thing and leave with dignity. No. Gotta call people names as they go and leave as much hard feeling as possible behind.
'Oh... we tried so hard to be the leaders. And... you're all bitches and gay.'
Give it a f*****g rest.

I don't think that's accurate. Several of the staff here were less than 18 when they were running the site. MNDF, Betty, DP - all under 18 at the time they were made staff, and all have been just fine.
Age isn't the problem - maturity is. We've had users here that were... well, let's just go with 'old enough to know better' that caused the staff nothing but problems, and we've had members here that were only just old enough to legally be here that have been perfectly good members that I'd be happy to have on any forum.

You know, 14 and 17 year olds can have opinions too. I really hate it when people use the age card and think just because of that, their opinion does not matter.
Reality check, you're in a forum dedicated to a game that is mainly played by teenagers and college-aged students. So get off your high horse.

Ok guys and gals. I've been very tolerant. I've listened and let you post your displeasures.
But here's the thing. We're here to stay. We're not going anywhere any time soon. So while I can understand your frustrations with having things change suddenly, calling the forum "gheeey" isn't going to help the situation in the least. Calling the admins who are attempting to make this site grow and thrive (as opposed to the stagnating that it HAS been doing) isn't going to help the situation either.
The new owner wants to add things to this site. He wants to start having activities for players and posters. He wants to bring traffic to the site along with not only people registering, but actually POSTING after they register. A good 60% of people register here and never post. Why is that? That's what we're trying to find out. It doesn't help having people trying to badmouth the forum and it's staff.
Work WITH us instead of against us and things will go much smoother and you might find that we aren't the evil overlords you seem to think we are. So unless you are 80 years old and just want to rail against those newfangled com-poot-er thangs those damn kids are using these days... Try embracing the change. You might find that you like it (even if it's eventually).
For now... yeah. Locking this. No more negativity just for negativity's sake. If you have genuine concerns you want to address, by all means. Intelligently post something or PM someone on staff and spell out what your concern is. We *will* listen and take it into account.
Krakkens and shit. stop tempting them. -- Bigdog
