    512MB AMD 4870 vs 1GB nVidia 9800GX2

    Ok.. first off this might or might not be true.. but i find it interesting.. being this cards MSRP is "projected" at around $ 350 USD

    Looks good.

    BUT

    If this is true then the 4870x2 will crush the gx2 since this article is about the 4870.

    Notice how they left off the AA?

    I want to see a rig that can pull off 8x in crysis with very high dx10 enabled@ 1920x1200 with a average of 50fps.

    Good point. Card comparisons seem to change radically when you apply hardware based filters like AA and AF. And I am curious to see those graphs. But this does bode well for ATI at this point.

    But I love to crank my AA up... makes everything so much smoother (looking).
