    Plantronics GAMECOM1

Anyone own a pair of these? I just order a set for $28 after shipping. After my cheap $20 WalMart headset just gave out..

I saw these at Best Buy for $60...Cant beat Newegg...

These the ones you have Mafia?

Anyone else have any experience with these, or Plantronics in general?

I have had mixed experience. One set of plantronics I owned were very good and lasted till I finally passed them down to the children (and hell might still work) antoher set was the most uncomfortable thing ive put on my head.

The price on those shows 19.99 - you sure yo ulinked the right set?

I have used these for about 2 years now, and I haven't found one that matches its long run comfort. Mine normally get replaced because I drop them and the plastic covers break off the side(only 3 points connect it to the man cup) and also if you move the mic around alot near the base the plastic cover breaks. But they sound great.

haven't wanted to buy and expensive set yet, normally these, if you can find them now. I believe they have upgraded a little. are around 35$ retail, and as you see newegg is a better price.

I use a Plantronics Game Pro1 and I've been very happy with the Plantronics brand. They sound great and they are very comfortable. I'm on my second pair only because one of my cats jumped off of my lap and got caught up in the cord and ripped the headset off of my head and slammed it into the ground and the left side stopped working... I wasn't very happy. Yes, the cat is still alive.
But back to the headset, I've been very pleased with the quality of the Plantronics brand. The only issue that has come up with that set is when I play BF2 with them I need to turn my microphone level down or else my voice comes across very loudly.

Bought these when I first saw them out at Circuit City for like $30. After I broke them, in a small fit of rage, I went out to buy another pair. This was 6 months later. I saw them at Circuit City again, but the funny thing is that they renamed them "gaming headphones" and spruced up the packaging. Same exact headphones with the same features that now ran almost $70. That that was quite hilarious, but ended up getting another pair because of what Master said, pure comfort. I love that material against my ears and I have never had to move or take them off because it hurt in any way. They may not be uber-leet in some areas, but they got my vote always because they are just so damn comfy.

I have the Razer Barracuda Headset and it sucks balls....not only is it uncomfortable, but there is no bass, the lights do not work, and Razer possibly has the worst customer service ever. They only give you a manufacturer warranty if you buy it from their website.
