that's a badass card, and EVGA has a cool step up program, syringe got his 9800 for like 7 bucks. I think that the card is backwards compatable for PCI express, but I'm not sure.

So I think I'm going to get this.

    BIOSTAR A770 A2+ AM2+/AM2 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813138106

    - $69.99 ($59.99 after $10 rebate)

    EVGA GeForce 8800GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLISupported
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130318

    - $189.99 ($159.99 after $30 rebate)

Everything else that I own is compatible. CPU, RAM, hard drive, PSU... so I'm good.

Well this is going to be better than my current setup, but not by THAT much. My 1950PRO is a pretty decent card. It's just the AGP thats holding me back.

or, if you have extra cash, try and step up to an 8800 GTS, its like a GT only with a bigger fan and slightly overlcocked.

    $159 > $224

I don't care if it has a bigger fan... And I'm pretty sure the GT will handle every single game I play with ease. No need in spending an extra $65.

I replaced my GT with the new GTS 512 (EVGA step up program) and can definitely tell a difference.

    Re: Good buy?

Of course there will be a slight difference, but nothing that major.. Well not major enough for me to spend an extra $65, I'm a broke SOB. Full time college student with a part time job, just doesn't cut it.

Explain to me the differences.. Like FPS wise, what's the jump?

    5fps, 10fps, 15fps, 30fps...?

    Dark Carnival Tank Glitch

I find a lot of times on the 360 my tank will spawn in a room with stairs or with see through walls and not be able to move.

This happens for a few minutes and then either the tank teleports or dies randomly.

    Anyone else seen this?

I've seen it a few times. It usually gets stuck in the room with the two windows for me. After that it usually teleports into one of the Survivors and they throw a molotov on you.
