Re: Windows XP SP3 is now live
I installed it before it came out on Windows Update from a link in the Microsoft Tech forums after the 29th, installed without a hitch. Just disabled my Anti Virus first to make sure.
Had no troubles, worked great for basic Windows XP home update. It did not mess with my BF2, or anything else that I can see, it removed all the old SP2 updates so my system is cleaner now, seems to run a bit smoother, although you hardly notice a difference.

I've pretty much got the same results as WarDog
Granted, its 7 months old, but who knows what turned out of this

I've not taken the time to run down the story any further to find if there were any real benchmarks run, but hey.... take it with a grain of salt just like the rest of EA stuff...... errr.... life.
