    Help Meh!

Basically, While in TF2, at all times, there is a message in the top right hand corner in red writing saying
"WARNING: OS Paged Pool Memory Low". After a while (10-15 mins) the game starts mis rendering ( players turning black and metallic) and eventually the game will close completely. Without a warning or even the "hl2.exe has encountered a problem" it just quits and i end up on my desktop.

I'm assuming it has to do with my RAM, but not sure...here's what i'm running on:

    Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3000+, MMX, 3DNow, ~1.8GHz
    Memory: 1024MB RAM
    Hard Drive: 300 GB
Video Card: RADEON 9200 SE Family (Microsoft Corporation)
    Sound Card: Realtek AC97 Audio
Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 2 (2600.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519)

    System Cache 533000 - 534000

    Paged 92330 - 92350
    Nonpaged 18808
^^ That is what shows up in: task manager > performance tab
    BEFORE running TF2

    hope the info helps

In practice, we have found that certain anti-virus applications allocate a large amount of paged pool memory that cannot be freed until the anti-virus software is fully uninstalled from the system. AVG 7.x, Norton/Symantec and NOD32 have been identified as anti-virus packages that allocate large amounts of paged pool memory and directly interfere with Source engine games. If disabling these applications does not help with the issue, you may want to consider uninstalling the anti-virus application to diagnose the cause of the crash.
