That is a good price... After reading the reviews, I would pass on it... seems to have a high fail rate... only 3 eggs.

Stick with Seagate and Western Digital for now... Samsung is getting better... but they arent there yet. Besides, 500GB is the sweet spot anyways. I would rather have 2 x 500GB than 1 X 1TB. Don't put all of your eggs in the same basket, ya know?

I was at the local Fry's (Plano) earlier this week. They had Seagate SATA II 750 GB drives for $109. I almost picked up a pair... Then I realized I already had 2 TB of storage in my machine.

You would be out 24 gigs though. However once you get that high i don't think 24 gigs makes a difference.

I have about 381 GB total from two hard drives.

Its enough for games and pics.

All the torrent porn is gone.

pc slows down to much....
well the old one did but I am not gonna try on this master rig.
