Let me give a more precise description of the site.

Ive been meaning to make the site for quite a while and i purchased: gamerscheck.com gamerslookup.com and gamersbackground.com along with a heavy bandwidth and large sql db support, hosting package for it, but the term started back up and i never got the time to work on it. With school out for the moment i now finally have that time.
As i said i plan the site to be kind of a giant history log of the entire gaming community; which is in desperate need of some kind of system to validify players. Coming from a wide range of clans i know how hard it can be to truly know a player and even recruit them. I can only imagine how nice it would be to have the ability to be able to look up the history of a player before recruiting them or giving them adminship.

Heres what I plan the site to be like so far (let me know what you guy's think!)
The site will be based of a system of various types of profiles which will have the following information on them:

• Players: first name, current alias, past alias’, guids, current active games, favorite server, favorite game, reputation points, kick, bans, current/previous clans, achievements, admining, leagues, looking for team, bio.
• Server: url, bans, kicks, admins (list or anonymous), admin review (gc admin) of 1-10 scale of servers morals, community review, explanation of morals by server, rep points.
• Admin: admin of ___, role, community review, rep points
• Community: servers, bio
• Leagues: admin review, community review, rep, rules, morals etc
• Teams: name, players, achievements, server, irc, leagues, rep (rep points are calculated based off of the rep points of the teams members), recruiting?
  

Reputation points: players can recommend a profile, the more rep points a profile has the bluer the name will appear 1-255, a certain percent of the points are lost per period of time. Additionally profiles are limited in their # of rec points per period of time. Rep points also affect the value of a profiles vote.


Player profiles will be made automatically from the imported data every day however, players can claim profiles and add more content such as favorite server, game, achievements etc. To validate achievements and such other things, other players would be able to vote valid or invalid on the various information on the players profile along with admins of leagues (who would be displayed differently). I hope to work out some kind of deal with some of the internet leagues and have them make a kind of rss stream of all the season info and such. As well as punkbuster kicks and bans.

Bans/kicks can be submitted by anyone: servers, players, leagues. Along with a description of the ban. Servers would also have profiles, along with a kind of reputation status (again players can vote on the server and a live total is displayed). This would serve as kind of a (cant think of the proper word)… representation to the validity of the ban source.
Ex if a player were to join a server and get banned for no reason at all, then the community might have voted a low reputation for that given server.


Possible Other Features:

• Teams can search for possible recruits and vice versa.
• Can look for servers by community or server type
• Search for player history by game, guid, alias etc
• Forums?
• (everything after here is just possible brainstorm ideas to draw players to use the site (the more players using it the more accurate the information is, if the site has everything else, this little more is not that much to work to add)
• Events on servers, communities, leagues etc
• Review hardware
  
• Add profile for hardware distributors?
• Review games?
• Cash generation ideas*
• Merchandise (perhaps, if you have over x rep points you can buy certain merchandize that others cannot)
• Affiliates
• Advertisements

It seems that even though i do not want to make a community out of this, that it very well may only be a few steps away from it, and it would draw more people in... (more people means more, accurite, information), thoughts? I do not, in anyway, desire this site to become competition to ttp, it will not even host servers, only have an admin population (to manage the various components of the site)

Currently im in need of any and all help, a few im in particular need of:
flash
css styling
People in good standing or know any league admins well,
forum submission coders,
stream of data to sql db.
php coders


Even just opinions.


As of right now Ive made a majority of the basic visual template for the player profile page, i need to finish a few css changes to make it presentable, and then ill post a link.

interesting idea.
A "one-stop shop" for a gamer's history instead of having to track down someone's stats from multiple places.

I think it could be a handy tool for game server admins when investigating problem players or people who they may want to grant admin powers to.
It could also be an easy way for a clan to check out a potential recruit.

Doesn't Xfire have something similar?
