    if he only has 2.0 gigs, and uses 1.8 gigs of it to play a game.....the computer is going to become unstable, unhappy, and put up stupid errors like that.

    solve your problem and order another 1 or 2 gig stick. Issue gone....$50.

    Running 4gb here on x64 vista no problem. Ram is cheap load it up.
