My itune files not working on audiosurf...help?

ok, just got audiosurf about 15 minutes ago. i was excited, seemed like a fun way to pass the time when TTP is dead. One of the big things for me was that Audiosurf said that my itunes files would work on there. I can get in the itunes folder, and into the artists/alubums (see the screenshots and don't flame my music intrests :9) but when i click on the albums for a song that i want.....its blank. I know that it has mp3 files, because ruukil sent me one where the entire message was "You know what Andrew? fuck you. Fuuuuck you!". So if anyone knows how to fix this problem, i would really apprecitate it.

If you purchased the songs from iTunes, Audiosurf doesn't support 'Protected' audio files. The workaround is that you can burn to a CD-R and then re-rip in iTunes to remove the copy protection and they'll then work in Audiosurf.

Of course, MyFairTunes is an illegal program, and probably should not be discussed here in this forum. The CD burn workaround, is in that legal grey area.

FWIW, any media with DRM (Digital Rights Management, read copy protection) will not work in Audiosurf. This includes tracks purchased from the Zune store or iTunes unless you get the DRM-free versions that Apple (and others) are now offering.

is it copy protection or is it because its in lossless format (aac) i think. does it need to be mp3 or wma or will it read the aac files, that may be your problem
