Maybe Nvidia needs to lengthen its product cycle from 6 months to 1 year. This way it can out with products that are truly a leap ahead from the last.
This card can't even beat my 9800GX2. And mine is the older model.
I really hope Ati comes out with something good.

Grrrrr... And here I just spent 800 dollars a couple months ago on a couple of 8800GTX cards.
Oh well. That upgrade will last me a couple years. Next step is to upgrade my 4800+ X2 cpu and memory. Going Quad Core Intel next.

meh...
most sites benchmarking it do not show a huge improvement over the 9800/8800 cards.
A bit expensive for what you are getting to me. Besides, my 8800GTS G92 plays all source and battlefield games at my monitor's max resolution with full details and max quality settings no problem. This seems to be a card for two groups: Those that play at extreme resolutions and benchmark whores.Sleep, eat, conquer, meditate, repeat.
