Need recommendation for Wiki software

I need to install a wiki, preferably php. There are a numbe rout there and I dont know much about them, can anyone point me to a good choice?

I would choose MediaWiki since it' s widely used. It's the Wiki that Wikipedia uses.

Yeah the administration is very straightforward. Thanks for the tip.

I am using it for my D&D campaign (cutsom rules, fauna and flora of the world, etc) and it works beautifully. I recently become a WordPress guru and am so familiar with php software and plugin customization right now that this media wiki is super easy.

Nice idea.

We use ScrewTurn Wiki, which is an ASP wiki, here at work for internal Engineering and Product Management information. It's not bad, and it's extensible like the various PHP offerings.
