Thread: McAfee

this isn't a tell me it sucks or whatever thing, because i don't run it on my computer, it just runs on the family computers because my parents still think pay anti-virus>free. i run aVast on mine for anyone wondering.

Anyways back on topic, i've been noticing that every now and then, not often but maybe a couple times a week all the real time protection etc. on our McAfee just turns off, real time scanning etc etc all set to off. trying to figure out if its something screwing up in the program or something more sinister?

check for conflicting software. any other antivirus program could be messing it up, even a trial. i dont much about mcafee programs but if it has antispyware built into it may be having conflicts with antispyware programs also.
