PC Power and Cooling 750 Quad
61 Amps on a single rail. I don't like dual or triple rail power supplies. I would rather have a power supply that keeps it all on the same rail and does it well, instead of make multiple rails take up the lack of engineering on the manufacturers part.
The power supply was made for SLI, even though I haven't touched SLI yet.

Re: 8800 Go POOF!!!
HAHAHA just got my 8800GTX back from EVGA, no problems whatsoever for the first night, then last night i was playing and it did the same thing it had done before. Took the card out and it was almost burn your skin hot to the touch.
The only thing i can think of is that the EVGA precision over clock that i am installed just to turn the fan on full is bugged or something and causing it to not work properly.

Im running an 8800gt oc in a velocity micro gaming rig, no problems here,
The card that it came with stock was an 8600gts i believe, so the cooling and power supply might not be COMPLETELY for the 8800 im running in it, but no problems whatsoever for about 6 months.

Re: 8800 Go POOF!!!
Don't get me wrong, I do not over clock this card. I haven't overclocked it once since i got it a year and a half ago. The only reason I have evgas precision overclocking tool installed is because i turn on the fan to 100% constantly. that way it stays cooler all the time. If they do an RMA again, I will definitly uninstall that and put some new drivers on the rig to see if that was the problem. I gotta install hardware monitor again to check temps.
