Nvidia released PhysX drivers.

yikes, so what nividia drivers should I have for my 8800 gtx? the latest and greatest or keep what I got?

I only play css at the moment so I don't think they would help anything.

I installed the drivers and my performance is unchanged. BUT, I suspect if I run a physX enabled game, it will tax the GPUs reducing their performance.

Interesting. FiringSquad has some bechmarks up.

Frame rates are up in PhysX enabled machines. They compared performance based on software physics vs the PhysX PPU card vs the nVidia PhysX support on the video card and the smallest gain in performance was 12% and some averaged twice that in gains.

The one thing they didn't show was if these new drivers show any drop in performance in games not utilizing PhysX.
