itunes/mp3 help and resloution question
First thing first.
When I turn my computer on my resolution is set at the lowest setting. I reset it to 1280 by 960 pixels but every morning it goes back to the low setting. Why? It just started happening about 4 days ago or so.
Second
I bought a Sony walkman 8g mp3 player and was told that it would sync to itunes. So far it's a no go.
Are ipods the only thing that syncs to itunes?
Should I just by the ipod?
Is there another program that I could use that is very similar to itunes (organizing, managing and syncing) ?
Right now I have been using the windows media player and I HATE it. I want to have a program that does more.

Thanks

Re: itunes/mp3 help and resloution question
Don't buy the ipod.
Windows Media Player(or Center) should be able to sync to your device. I think Winamp does some kind of device syncing, but im not sure.
If you are looking for another MP3 player though, i suggest the Zune.

You can also find these at places like Bestbuy at standard prices $150, $170, and $250. Also if you decide to get a zune, don't get a 30 GB. It is the first gen. the second gen zunes are sooo much better.(4GB,8GB, and 80 GB). I have an 8GB zune and love it.

Re: itunes/mp3 help and resloution question
I would never buy anything made by apple.
I hate apple(Crapple) With a passion. Every single thing they sell is over priced.
A few examples
Wireless Keyboard($80):http://store.apple.com/us/product/MB...s&mco=Mjg4MzE3
Wireless Mouse(No right click and $70):http://store.apple.com/us/product/MB...s&mco=MTE2MTI3
Here is where their overpricing really shows:
http://store.apple.com/us/product/M9...ys&mco=MTI1NzI
http://store.apple.com/us/product/M9...ys&mco=MTI1Njg
http://store.apple.com/us/product/M9...ys&mco=MTI1NzM
$600 for a 20" Monitor, $900 for a 23" Monitor and $1,800 for a 30" monitor
I think even ipods are overpriced for what you get.
Also Apple straight up lies to consumers, Their Apple Lossless Codec that isn't lossless, their 6 Bit LCD pannel for the Mac Book Air that they rode off as a 8 Bit LCD. And the list goes on.
I myself would never buy an apple product, or give apple money in anyway.

Re: itunes/mp3 help and resloution question
I dont have any advice for personal media devices. I have had two MP3 players since 2001 and my current Creative Muvo 1Gb is just fine for me! For listening to MP3s on my computer, I have always just used Windows Media Player.
Apple is expensive because of their name AND they use some of the highest quality parts money can buy.
No about your resolution...
Is your computer shutting down correctly?
Did you install any software just prior to this happening?
I would start by reinstalling the video drivers.
What is your OS and GPU BTW? I know you told me once, but you were going to upgrade, so I figured I would ask again.
