    heh, they had to take a page from AMD's book and copy the whole IMC system...it offers better multi core support, but you will have to be more picky with your memory and careful with overclocking.

    Intel also made the SkullTrail earlier this year which supported both multi-GPU platforms... they took the chipset for controlling SLI and their own chipset for controlling the Crossfire system. It also supported dual GPU. http://www.tomshardware.com/s/skulltrail/

    It appears to have vanished.

    I am glad to see Intel releasing something like this...it is a more elegant design in terms of logic and engineering.
