Re: Going back to XP
Yeah, I was an early adopter of Vista and it had major issues in the beginning.
But now I run ultimate 64 flawlessly. All my components are relatively new though... DDR2, AM2, 8800 GTS's.
Jason's advice sounds pretty worthwhile...I love all the vista eye candy and it's searching and sorting features are really nice.

Re: Going back to XP
Don't care much for Mac's but they were always more stable on my machines, when I played games, EARLY games, they didn't crash, hung every once and a while but beat 98 at the time! Still better than XP. And yes I have logged probably 200+ hours on a Mac so don't be going there, I like the windows simplicity and it is modifiable. Mac is too expensive.

Re: Going back to XP
Some ppl only thing about the negatives while they do their tasks then they are disappointed when it doest work out. When i hear ppl say "Vista Sucks" i never believe they used it more than a month or two... things just dont work overnight it took me about a half a year before i got rid of my XP dual boot config now im boating Vista 64 without any problems
