Re: Help me build a new box.
I can put it together, its just been a year and a half since I built one and I haven't kept up with the new parts that are out, thus why I was asking for help. Surely it hasn't changed that much as far as connecting everything and getting the bios/OS/etc up and running.
I already have vista home premium that comes with the 64 bit OS, so I am going to use that for those that were linking OS in their lists.

Re: Help me build a new box.
Well I have to say in the past year or so bios has got a lot easier, the board I just put in an Asus P5N-T deluxe pretty much looked after everything including flashing the bios upgrade. And Vista when I installed, while looking cruder than xp again pretty much looked after itself. My job seemed to be to stick the pieces together and then put the correct disks in at the right time. Of course there was some tweeking afterward but that was optional.
