And for those games that don't have a Mac port and you don't want to run bootcamp, you can use codeweavers. It's not an emulator so it doesn't suffer from those slowdowns (It re-implements the Windows API in terms of OSX, so the game runs at full speed).

Steam games (e.g., HL2, CSS, TF2, etc) are on their officially supported list.

I use it on my Mac at work to play Portal and TF2.

Hey thats awesome, thanks for the heads up. Saved me a few bucks. Although, I'm pretty sure BF2 won't run on it. I"m looking forward to HL on OSX though!
