The only problem I've ever had with Norton persay, is that it conflicts with creative labs products of all sorts... both norton and creative labs deny of course the evidence given in forums across the internet

My experience with NIS has been iffy. The firewall can go corrupt and cause all sorts of issues.

    Re: Norton Internet Security 2009

I have Norton Internet Security on my PC now and have had it for about 2 years. I also have a creative labs sound card and haven't had a problem relating to Norton that i know of in all that time. I still need to download the new version of it that came out this past week but. I admit though that i can be a bit taxing on your PC but even with that and all my other background program I can still run my games at max settings without performance problems.

    Re: Norton Internet Security 2009

I was a beta tester for Norton anti-virus 2009. Over all it was a ton better than the past few years. The last Norton anti virus i used was 2002, after that it started to get really bloated.

I don't know about the whole suite though, im sure its much better but... I still wouldn't buy it. (anti virus alone i might).

    Re: Norton Internet Security 2009

ugh i hate norton, not only was it bloated but something is wrong when a software company won't let you uninstall the product.

Besides i use AntiVir now, which gets much better marks then Norton in tests.
