Thread: Hacking bios on dell inspiron 9100... Any ideas???

My wife has a dell inspiron 9100 which is hardly used anymore. I was wondering if anyone knew how to hack the dell bios so that I could try to OC it a bit... Anyone have any ideas

Usually it just requires a reflash. A search on google should return some good results. However, speaking from experience, it's kind of a bad idea for a laptop. I will never OC another notebook after burning up my Sager with great cooling(this was with mild OCing). Most of them run too hot without OCing so the added stress usually just means death unless you are using some super cooling system(like using it in a meat locker). LOL! But if that is what you want a reflash with a modified bios is the way to go.
