    Update:

sorry Enf, i did have the A8N-SLI Premium but after looking through all my stuff and checking my Sold items on Ebay..i found it. It's now in Canada, i did sell it. Sorry. If you can find that MOBO on ebay, it's a damn good board. good luck.

I'll check on that. DFI's site has never looked very well-kept so who knows what kind of hoops I would have to jump through, but its worth a shot.

Oh, also, look at the ABit KN8 Ultra. I have it and it's a pretty good board. I usually go Asus but with the recent fiasco with my M2N-SLi Deluxe, I've been looking at other board MFGs. I wouldn't recommend MSI boards, they boot slow.

Yeah DFI was..... average to say the best. Before that I had a KCS and I wont even get into the number of fiascos I had with that board.

Re: Looking for Dependable Socket 939 ATX Board

939 still has life, but not much. I am still using my A8N-SLI Premium with an Opteron CPU as my gaming rig. I still get good framerates on it and until a game (that I like and actually play) comes along and changes that, I will continue to use it. All of the Source and BF games run great on it so no need for me to upgrade yet. But I know that time is coming closer with every passing day...
My Asus A8N-SLI Premium has been rock solid stable and overclocked for the better part of three years now.
