Busted my headset/mic...need something new

Ok lots of ideas...

I can go USB or 3.5mm

Seems like every set I get the mic goes out on me. :P

Get a separate headphone and mic. You can get higher quality mics and headphones by buying separately and then if one goes out you don't have to chuck the whole unit. That Zalman I recommended has a model that is identical but comes with a mic. And the mic is a whole separate unit that just clips onto the cord near your mouth. The separate mic cost 5 bucks!

I had a pair of these for like a year or two till I upgraded recently. They served me well in games, and they still work after the beating I gave them. They come with a really good quality mic which I still use.

I LOVE GOOOOOLLLD!

I am using one headset for sound and another for a mic...it sucks...my head feels like its 100 pounds.

I picked up some sennheiser hd-595s. But those are probably out of your price range.
