Thread: Mic problems.

I got a new mic for Xmas, and it's been acting up lately.

I'm running Vista 32, and what happens is my mic cuts out playing certain games, but only sometimes, at random intervels.
If I turn my mic boost to 20 Db in Windows, my sound cuts out sometimes in only TF2 and Day of Defeat. People can only hear me in CoD5 when I have my mic at 20Db boost also. Any lower, and people can't hear me.
If I lower it, like I said, people in CoD5 don't hear me, but I get no cutting out in TF2 or DoD.

I did update my drivers, and this didn't happen with my old mic.
I always kept my old mic at 10 Db boost, and it worked fine.

Any help?
