How to monitor Internet activity?
I'm hoping someone can answer this, as I am lately being frustrated by seeing my modem constantly lit up, as if it were busy as hell, but I have no processes running that are accessing the internet.
I'm looking for a program I can get, wherever, that I can call up and view exactly what is making this modem act like this, in addition to, managing what should be accessing the internet.
I tried looking at the Windows Task Manager, to no avail. All it would show me is what is running in the computer itself.

Sounds like you are being hacked. Maybe the aliens are you to get you and your information next they will hack your brain.
You are fine its just the computers talking. If you start getting lag from nowhere with the lights going nuts then look into it.

If you use Vista,there are a couple gadgets for the sidebar. I use the Wired Network Monitor from:
