    I think he means the risk of his PSU not being strong enough to support the 4850.

    i say go for the stronger card, can you afford a new PSU if it doesnt work? could you return the card at a full refund if it doesnt work? if so, where is the risk? if not, do some more homework to determine if your PSU can handle it before buying.
